Helen Fischer, the queen of German pop music, has faced failure in her attempts to conquer the streaming charts. According to the report from “bild.de,” the planned documentary film about the singer will not see the light of day due to disagreements with Netflix. Although filming has already been completed, the streaming giant and Fischer’s team were unable to reach an agreement on the final version.
The filming of the documentary began in late 2022 and covered the singer’s tour titled “Rausch,” providing viewers with a unique glimpse into her life behind the scenes. The film was set to include personal moments, including an incident involving a trapeze fall in Hanover in June 2023. Interviews with close friends and colleagues were also planned for the documentary.
According to “bild.de,” the disputes concerned the final version of the film, leading to disagreements between the artist and Netflix. Fischer’s representatives have not yet commented on the situation.
Netflix, known for its documentary projects about stars, has previously worked with several well-known figures who shared their experiences and struggles. Robbie Williams openly discussed his issues with alcohol and drugs, Taylor Swift addressed topics related to eating disorders, and Lady Gaga talked about the psychological stress associated with fame.
In contrast to them, Helen Fischer has not made such revelations. As reported by “bild.de,” she allegedly did not receive any compensation for the film’s creation but only used the platform to reach an international audience.
