The Russian film industry set new records, with seven films earning over 1 billion rubles, compared to four in 2023. Family films were especially popular. A standout was the blockbuster “100 Years Ahead,” which showcased the success of Russian science fiction.
Additionally, films about ’90s pop music and bands like “Ivanushki” sparked great interest. The new theater season also brought positive developments for the industry, with new jobs and increasing production.
